    Scheduling, billing, insurance verification and patient communication.

    Chairside assisting, sterilization, radiography and clinical procedures, practiced hands-on.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior dental or medical experience to apply?
No. We start from the beginning and teach everything from dental terminology and anatomy to chairside procedures and front-office software.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be at least 18 years old at enrollment and have a high school diploma, GED, or Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency. Applicants without one may qualify by passing an approved ability-to-benefit test. Admission also includes an interview, a criminal background check, and Hepatitis B vaccination records or a signed declination before clinical work.
Will I be a Registered Dental Assistant when I finish?
Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion from Dual Impact Dental Academy. Registering with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) is a separate step with its own requirements. Your TSBDE registration and exam fees and fingerprinting are included in tuition.
What if I miss a class?
Monday online sessions are recorded so you can catch up. Saturday hands-on labs require attendance. If you miss one, we will work with you to schedule a make-up session.
Is financial assistance available?
Tuition assistance may be available. Tuition is $6,497 plus a $300 registration fee, and three payment plans are offered. Email admin@dual-impact-dental-academy.com to discuss your options.
What does the 80-hour externship involve?
After the 12 weeks of training, you complete 80 hours of supervised practice in a local dental office. We help every student find a placement, at no extra cost.
Will I be ready to work when I finish?
The program prepares you for entry-level front-office and clinical assistant roles, and includes resume building and interview coaching. No school can guarantee employment or a starting salary.
